TC Burton offers the LD-1: A purpose-built armored ATV that provides revolutionized protection… speed, agility, offensive maneuverability, defensive prowess, and the ability to stop large-round weapons.

Made in the USA and designed and built in Indiana, the LD-1 is a lightweight ballistic surround shield for the Polaris Sportsman 850 ATV. While maintaining the ATV’s inherent maneuverability, the LD-1 utilizes NIJ III rated ballistic panels that can stop up to a 7.62x51mm round. It is fully capable in all terrain, both interior and exterior, to offer unprecedented access in spaces where a BearCat or MRAP cannot go. And unrivaled ballistic protection that cannot be accomplished with the motorcycles, bicycles, golf carts, or squad cars currently utilized by law enforcement agencies.

Surviving Mann All Stars - Season 4 Finale

The LD-1 Armored ATV is making its television debut on Surviving Mann: All Stars in Season 4—a competition built around strength, strategy, survival, and the ability to perform when the pressure is on.

Hosted by SEAL Team 6 veteran Don Mann, Surviving Mann puts competitors through demanding tactical challenges designed to test their physical and mental limits. From high-stress combat scenarios and tactical training to rescue operations and challenging terrain navigation, every mission demands adaptability, teamwork, and performance under pressure.

In Season 4, Episode 4: “Shield and Strike,” the LD-1 enhances the team’s mission capabilities during a challenging rescue operation. Tune in to Surviving Mann on the Pursuit Channel or stream on demand through Pursuit UP.
